The Royal Palm that Lived

This Royal palm may look well but about a year and a half ago it was having major Boron deficiency. It took awhile but in the end it lived.

Looking ant my past pictures to find this sad, poor looking palm when it had no fronds and was curled up.

The Banding Method

The banding method. Old school method of appoint fertilizer around palm trees mainly. You still see it from time to time but research has show that it's better to broad cast the fertilizer. This avoid the product from clumping up and allows each workable pebble( there is. Better.  Word) to work its way into the soil.
